Southgate and Leigh is a songwriting act that will be supporting Joan Armatrading and performing at Hullabaloo Festival in June 2012. They teamed up with MTV recently to provide music for the soundtrack of The Freshers. Their debut album consists of 12 original songs, one of which was voted single of the week by Cosmopolitan in 2011. Airplay includes BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and Propeller TV.
